Indian wicket-keeper and Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson recently shared a fun and surprising story about the young cricket star Vaibhav Suryavanshi.
In a video posted by the Rajasthan Royals team on Monday, Samson said that Suryavanshi used his bat to hit an incredible century during the Indian Premier League (IPL) match.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi is just 14 years old and has already become a big name in cricket. At the start of the IPL, he became famous for being the youngest player in the league. But what made him even more popular was his amazing performance in his third match.
Suryavanshi played against the Gujarat Titans and scored a stunning 101 runs from just 38 balls. He smashed 7 fours and 11 massive sixes. Thanks to his powerful batting, the Rajasthan Royals easily won the match by eight wickets in Jaipur.
Sanju Samson also mentioned in the video that Vaibhav has a love for collecting bats and always talks about them. “He has a bat obsession,” Samson said with a smile.
This special moment has made Suryavanshi an inspiration for many young cricket fans. His story shows that age is just a number when you have talent and passion.
