Qatar Increases Commitment to Global Humanitarian Initiatives

The Minister of State for International Cooperation in Qatar, Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, held a meeting on Sunday in Doha with Father Elie Madi, who serves as the Envoy of the Patriarch to Doha and is a former Superior General of the Congregation of Maronite Lebanese Missionaries.

Throughout their discussions, the two leaders explored avenues for stronger collaborative relationships, particularly within the realms of humanitarian aid and development initiatives. They reviewed various topics of shared interest that could foster deeper cooperation.

Dr. Al Misnad acknowledged the fruitful outcomes that have emerged from their current partnerships, reiterating Qatar's unwavering dedication to backing humanitarian and relief programs designed to enhance stability and community growth.

Father Elie Madi expressed gratitude for the substantial humanitarian role played by Qatar regionally and internationally. He commended Qatar's continuous support for significant development initiatives and relief operations.
