Post by : Bianca Suleiman

In an effort to assist Hajj pilgrims, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has provided 194,680 copies of essential religious texts related to Hajj laws for those arriving in the Kingdom. This effort was executed by the ministry’s branch in Makkah in collaboration with the Department of Mosques, Dawah and Guidance in the Taif region.

The initiative unfolded from the 9th of Dhu Al-Qadah until the 6th of Dhu Al-Hijjah, aiming to enhance Dawah and guidance services for pilgrims during the Hajj period.

According to ministry statistics, 45,405 copies were distributed at Taif International Airport while a remarkable 149,275 copies were handed out at the Miqat sites of Qarn Al-Manazil and Wadi Muharram.

These publications contain critical information about the Hajj rituals and guidelines to aid pilgrims in fulfilling their sacred responsibilities right upon their entry into the Kingdom.

To accommodate the diverse backgrounds of pilgrims, the books have been translated into multiple languages, including Arabic, Indonesian, Turkish, Urdu, Pashto, Russian, and English.

This initiative is a testament to Saudi Arabia’s dedication to enhancing the experience of pilgrims and fostering religious education during the significant Hajj pilgrimage.
