OnePlus is all set to launch its latest smartphones, the OnePlus 15R and OnePlus 15R Ace Edition, in India today. Fans and tech enthusiasts are eagerly waiting to see the new devices, which promise powerful performance, sleek designs, and impressive features.
The launch event will take place in Bengaluru at 7 pm IST, where the company will also unveil the OnePlus Pad Go 2. People who cannot attend the event in person can watch it live on the OnePlus India YouTube channel and official social media platforms.
Expected Price and Availability
While OnePlus has not officially revealed the prices, leaks suggest that the OnePlus 15R could come in two variants: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage. The 256GB model may cost between Rs. 47,000 and Rs. 49,000, while the 512GB version could exceed Rs. 52,000. Bank-related discounts of up to Rs. 3,000 or 4,000 may also be available. The phones will be sold through Amazon and the OnePlus India online store. Colour options include Charcoal Black, Mint Green, and Electric Violet.
Specifications and Features
The OnePlus 15R series is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, built on a 3nm process, making it one of the fastest smartphones in the market. The devices also feature a G2 Wi-Fi chip and a Touch Response Chip. They will run OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 and carry IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
Camera enthusiasts will enjoy the photography capabilities of the OnePlus 15R. It sports a 50MP rear camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP front camera. The phone supports 4K video recording at up to 120 frames per second, ensuring high-quality videos for creators and casual users alike.
Display and Battery
Both models feature a high-refresh-rate 165Hz display, offering smooth visuals and an enhanced gaming experience. Additionally, the 7,400mAh battery promises long-lasting power, capable of keeping up with heavy usage throughout the day.
