Oman Air Unveils Direct Flights from Muscat to Singapore Starting July 2026

Post by : Mara Rahim

Oman Air is set to introduce direct flights between Muscat and Singapore, commencing on 2 July 2026. Operating four times a week—on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays—this new route aims to streamline travel between the two regions. It also enhances Oman Air's footprint in Southeast Asia through its affiliation with the oneworld alliance, allowing passengers easy access to numerous destinations in Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, and beyond.

Con Korfiatis, CEO of Oman Air, remarked that this new route broadens travel possibilities for both business and leisure travellers. He emphasized that this service reinforces Muscat’s strategic role as a hub linking Asia-Pacific markets with Europe, providing high-quality travel experiences for all.

Lim Ching Kiat, Executive Vice President of Changi Airport Group, expressed enthusiasm for the new service, noting that it enhances Singapore's connectivity with Muscat and enriches the travel landscape across the Asia-Pacific region. He added that this initiative will foster fresh travel opportunities and deepen market connections.

The Muscat-Singapore flights will operate using Boeing 737 Max aircraft, equipped with Oman Air’s acclaimed Business and Economy Class cabins, ensuring comfort for all passengers.

This new launch underscores Oman Air’s commitment to expanding its international network, enhancing regional connectivity, and catering to the increasing demand for seamless travel options.

With this development, Oman Air anticipates attracting both tourists and corporate flyers, facilitating easier travel between the Middle East and Southeast Asia via expedited, direct flights.
