At the TIME 100 Summit held in New York, Nita Ambani captivated audiences while engaging in a Leadership Lens session alongside Jessica Sibley. During their dialogue, she delivered an inspiring message about India's pivotal role in the global landscape, emphasizing the growing importance of soft power that India embodies.

For this prominent occasion, Nita Ambani donned a unique Jamdani saree sourced from West Bengal, celebrating the country's textile artistry. This exquisite saree, handcrafted over a two-year period by Padma Shri awardee Biren Kumar Basak from Phulia, showcases India’s intricate weaving traditions.

The six-yard piece features a delicate cream backdrop adorned with vibrant motifs and detailed meenakari craftsmanship. It merges tribal influences with narrative designs reflecting India’s artistic heritage. The pallu showcases visually stunning scenes depicting human figures, flora, and fauna, while the borders are accentuated with fish motifs representing prosperity and abundance.

Presented by Swadesh, the brand renowned for uplifting traditional Indian craftsmanship, the saree reflects a commitment to artisan collaboration.

Nita Ambani completed her look with exquisite jewellery, including a triple-strand pearl necklace, emerald and diamond earrings, a show-stopping emerald ring, and coordinating bangles. Her makeup was gracefully understated, highlighted by a green bindi, kohl-lined eyes, and soft pink lips.

In addition to her role as chairperson of the Reliance Foundation and founder of Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Nita serves as a director at Reliance Industries. She is married to prominent businessman Mukesh Ambani, and they share three children: Akash, Isha, and Anant Ambani.
