India's Pioneering AI-Powered Aquaculture Park to Launch in Andhra Pradesh

Post by : Bianca Suleiman

A groundbreaking development is underway as Andhra Pradesh prepares to launch India’s first AI-driven aquaculture technology park. Kings Infra Ventures Ltd has formalized a ₹2,500-crore partnership with the state government to establish a sprawling 500-acre center near Srikakulam, focusing on innovation, sustainability, and enhanced seafood production.

This facility will utilize advanced AI systems via Kings Infra’s proprietary platform, BlueTechOS, to oversee and optimize operations across hatcheries, indoor farming ecosystems, processing areas, and a marine bio-actives division. The initiative is set to farm various species such as shrimp, seabass, grouper, and tilapia, promoting continuous production and export opportunities throughout the year.

An initial investment of ₹500 crore will be made by Kings Infra for essential infrastructure, research, and processing capabilities. Additionally, the project is projected to attract around ₹2,000 crore from the related sectors, renewable energy projects, and smaller enterprises connected to the park. The plan includes training for 5,000 aquaculture professionals over five years, focusing on skills essential for a high-tech seafood industry.

This venture aligns with Andhra Pradesh’s ambition to retain its status as the top aquaculture-producing state in India, reflecting a significant move towards sustainable and advanced food production. With this investment, the region anticipates considerable economic growth, job creation, and improved export dynamics.

Since its establishment in 1987, Kings Infra Ventures has been involved in aquaculture, seafood exports, and infrastructure projects, witnessing a 22.36% increase in net profit to ₹4.24 crore in Q2 FY26, largely attributed to robust demand from European and Asian markets.

This park is poised to mark a transformative initiative, demonstrating how AI can enhance India's seafood industry while ensuring environmental responsibility and operational efficacy.
