Spearheaded by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the graduation ceremony for the 19th Emirates National Schools (ENS) Al Ain cohort unfolded with great grandeur at the United Arab Emirates University.
This milestone event celebrated the achievements of 222 graduates from the “Year of Family 2026” cohort. Distinguished attendees included Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, senior officials, educational leaders, and proud parents.
The occasion underscored UAE leadership's unwavering commitment to enhancing education quality and developing national schools. Emphasis was placed on equipping students with contemporary knowledge, vital future skills, and innovation-centric education.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan extended heartfelt congratulations to graduates and their families, delivering greetings from Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan while wishing students well in their forthcoming academic and career pursuits. He highlighted the significance of diligence and commitment towards national progress.
Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Hameeri, Chairman of the ENS Board, applauded Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his enduring support, which has significantly elevated educational standards and bolstered ENS's reputation both locally and globally.
He noted that ENS is continually advancing educational programs focused on pivotal themes such as artificial intelligence, digital transformation, sustainability, and clean energy. The institution is dedicated to fostering Emirati identity, Arabic literacy, and innovation among its students.
ENS Director-General Lachlan Mackinnon remarked on the school's mission to prepare upcoming generations through AI, technology, and innovation-infused learning frameworks, alongside initiatives for gifted students through scholarship opportunities.
Mackinnon also celebrated the students' significant achievements, including 23 distinct awards in areas like AI, science, and arts, as well as 31 accolades in sports and martial arts on both local and international stages.
The event was further graced by Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, underlining the vital connection between education and national advancement.
Concluding the ceremony, officials recognized the graduates and exceptional students, while parents and attendees expressed deep pride for their accomplishments and aspirations for a prosperous future serving the UAE.
