Experience Bac Ninh's Delicacies at Hanoi's Kinh Bac Fair

Post by : Shakul

In the heart of Vietnam's capital, a delightful showcase of Bac Ninh’s renowned agricultural and traditional goods is now available as the seventh iteration of the "Vitality of Vietnamese Goods" program gets underway on Trang Tien Street. This year's event, focusing on the "Kinh Bac Market Fair," aims to bridge market connections and present regional specialties to a broader audience.

Located at 62 Trang Tien Street, the fair features an impressive array of products sourced directly from Bac Ninh Province’s production areas. Items on display include fresh seasonal lychees, processed lychee goods, traditional Chu noodles, Nui Danh ginseng, golden flower tea, black garlic, and bamboo shoots, all drawing the attention of visitors and buyers.

A standout feature of this event is the introduction of freshly harvested U Hong and early Thieu lychees. These fruits, transported right from Bac Ninh’s orchards, became a key attraction right from the first day. Many attendees took the opportunity to explore cultivation techniques, production norms, and quality certifications that enhance consumer trust in local products.

Organizers emphasize that the fair transcends conventional marketplaces, serving as a vital platform for local cooperatives, farmers, and businesses to connect directly with urban consumers. This initiative also strengthens regional supply chains, while generating new business prospects for small producers eager to broaden their market reach.

A notable aspect of this year's fair is the fusion of digital commerce with traditional sales methods. A special livestream shopping event will occur on June 5, presented on the TikTok channel of the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development. Featuring actress Anh Dao, this session is anticipated to bring Bac Ninh’s specialties to Vietnamese online audiences.

Officials recognize that blending in-person exhibitions with digital marketing mirrors the future of product promotion in Vietnam. Livestream sales and online interactions enable local brands to reach expansive audiences while honoring the authenticity and cultural significance of regional products.

Running until June 7, the Kinh Bac Market Fair provides Hanoi residents and visitors a chance to uncover genuine Bac Ninh specialties. Organizers aspire that this event not only boosts sales but also elevates awareness of Vietnamese agricultural products, fostering the sustainable growth of local businesses and cooperatives.
