Aneet Padda Prepares for Exams Ahead of Shakti Shalini Filming

Post by : Mina Rahman

Actress Aneet Padda, who recently graced the screen in the hit film Shakti Shalini, is gearing up to take her final-year college exams this December and January. Once her exams conclude, she’ll shift her focus to her lead role in Dinesh Vijan's upcoming film, Shakti Shalini.

Pursuing a B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science, Aneet is adeptly managing her academics alongside a demanding filming schedule. Reports indicate that careful planning is in place to ensure she can meet her educational and artistic responsibilities.

Career Milestones

Aneet made her debut with a small part in the series Salaam Venky (2022), quickly ascending to prominence with her leading role in the Prime Video production Big Girls Don’t Cry. Her significant breakthrough came from her role in Mohit Suri’s romantic film Saiyaara, where she played a songwriter facing early-onset Alzheimer’s. This movie achieved remarkable success, becoming the second highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025 and the top romantic film in India.

Set within Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU), Shakti Shalini is scheduled to premiere on December 24, 2026. The previous MHCU film, Thamma, featured notable stars such as Rashmika Mandanna, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
