Xi Jinping Extends Republic Day Wishes to India

Chinese President Xi Jinping conveyed his Republic Day wishes to Indian President Droupadi Murmu and the citizens of India on Monday, highlighting the relationship between the two nations as built on friendship, neighbourhood, and partnership.

In his message, Xi emphasized that China and India, as two significant developing nations, hold a shared responsibility to foster stable and constructive relations. He remarked that in the past year, New Delhi and Beijing have seen enhancement in ties through various levels of dialogue and mutual cooperation.

Xi pointed out that a robust and progressive India-China relationship holds great significance not just for the two nations but also for regional stability and global prosperity. He asserted that collaboration between these two Asian nations can be crucial in fostering peace, economic advancement, and balanced growth worldwide.

The Chinese leader also emphasized the necessity of mutual trust, respect for one another's interests, and peaceful coexistence. He expressed his hope that both parties would bolster communication, manage differences wisely, and work together to expand cooperative ventures.

India marked its Republic Day through nationwide festivities that celebrated its democratic values, rich cultural legacy, and expanding international presence. Xi’s message arrives as both nations strive to stabilize their relationship and explore avenues for enduring cooperation.
