Dubai CommerCity (DCC), the leading free zone for digital commerce in the UAE, has partnered with VTEX, a globally recognized enterprise digital commerce platform celebrated as a Customer’s Choice® by Gartner for two straight years. This alliance aims to propel the growth of digital commerce throughout the UAE and the broader GCC region, equipping retailers, brands, and startups with cutting-edge commerce solutions and AI-enhanced tools for seamless access to both local and international markets.
The official agreement was signed by Amna Lootah, Director General of Dubai CommerCity, alongside Santiago Naranjo, Chief Revenue Officer at VTEX, with senior officials from both sides present.
This partnership comes at a pivotal moment as the UAE's digital economy, valued at AED 32.3 billion (US$8.8 billion) in 2024, is expected to exceed AED 50.6 billion (US$13.8 billion) by 2029. This growth is in line with the UAE Digital Economy Strategy intended to double the sector’s contribution to GDP, further establishing Dubai as a global tech and innovation hub.

This initiative enables VTEX to provide its top-notch commerce solutions to potential brands, SMEs, and startups through tailored programs fostering growth and scalability.
Empowering Emirati Entrepreneurs
Fostering local innovation and empowering SMEs is a significant focus of this partnership. Together, VTEX and Dubai CommerCity have rolled out a regional initiative designed to support innovation-driven growth while enhancing the competitive edge of UAE businesses in both local and international markets.
This initiative will offer immersive masterclasses, engaging webinars, and accredited courses on e-commerce architecture, omnichannel strategies, composable stores, and marketplace tactics. Participants will receive hands-on training with AI-driven commerce solutions and actionable insights on effective and sustainable business scaling.
Leveraging Insights for Strategic Growth
Dubai CommerCity’s InsightsIQ platform, which integrates with VTEX’s global commerce framework, provides real-time AI-driven analytics.
