Vietnam Sets Vision for Trang An as an International Tourist Hub

Post by : Shakul

Vietnam has unveiled an ambitious initiative to elevate the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex into a premier international tourism hub, while prioritizing the preservation of its unique cultural and natural heritage. This strategic decision, authorized by Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra, is an integral part of Vietnam's broader sustainable tourism development goals.

The project encompasses the entire scenic area of Trang An Tam Coc Bich Dong in Ninh Binh, covering an expansive area of over 9,600 hectares. Authorities are dedicated to safeguarding the site’s outstanding universal characteristics while simultaneously enhancing its attraction to both domestic and international tourists. This endeavor is anticipated to significantly bolster tourism in the Northern Delta region.

Officials underlined that conservation efforts will take precedence, implementing stringent measures to safeguard landscapes, ecosystems, and historical relics. The planning process is designed to ensure that development activities align with the preservation of the heritage site, fostering long-term sustainability.

The government also plans to enhance infrastructure and spatial organization to enrich the visitor experience. This includes defining protected areas, managing land utilization, and integrating technical systems that bolster tourism without compromising the environment.

Cultural preservation remains a pivotal element of the initiative, with a commitment to maintaining traditional craft communities and local festivals. Authorities intend to weave these cultural aspects into tourism experiences, enabling guests to connect with the region’s history and traditions.

New tourism offerings will be introduced to broaden visitor engagement, from ecotourism and cultural tourism to adventure sports and agricultural experiences. These initiatives aim to attract a diverse array of tourists and foster economic growth for local communities.

The strategy also embraces contemporary tourism trends, including digital engagement and smart tourism solutions, ensuring Trang An's competitiveness in the global tourism landscape. Simultaneously, rigorous regulations will be enacted to manage visitor numbers and protect the natural environment.

In summary, this initiative embodies Vietnam’s dedication to harmonizing heritage conservation with economic advancement, positioning Trang An as a world-class destination that celebrates natural beauty, cultural depth, and sustainable tourism methodologies.
