Post by : Mara Rahim

The United Arab Emirates is gearing up for its prominent participation in the upcoming Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX) 2025, scheduled from December 1 to 4, 2025, at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre in Cairo. With a robust national pavilion, the UAE will present some of its most sophisticated land, sea, and air defence technologies to an international audience. Recognized as one of the largest defence exhibitions in the Middle East and North Africa, EDEX underscores the UAE's expanding role in the global defence industry.

The UAE pavilion will spotlight a selection of key national defence firms celebrated for their innovation and capability. These organizations are eager to forge strategic partnerships, enhance business relationships, and bolster their visibility in both regional and global markets. Their participation in EDEX 2025 aims to showcase their latest systems, technologies, and defense solutions to professionals worldwide.

Major UAE entities will form part of the pavilion, including prominent names like Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement, EDGE Group, Calidus, GAL, AMMROC, and Al Jundi magazine. Each participant will unveil cutting-edge defence products, state-of-the-art technologies, and specialized services, while also engaging with international manufacturers and industry leaders to seek new business opportunities.

The UAE’s involvement exemplifies its commitment to fostering innovation, enhancing national skills, and expanding its local defence landscape. The representation of national companies aligns perfectly with the UAE's ambition to cultivate impactful global partnerships that facilitate knowledge exchange and aid in localizing defensive technologies. This approach is integral to strengthening national security and fostering sustainable economic progress.

Beyond technology demonstrations, the UAE pavilion will also highlight significant upcoming national defence events. These include the 2026 editions of UMEX and SimTEX, and the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR), alongside future iterations of IDEX and NAVDEX in 2027. Such events draw significant global interest, solidifying the UAE’s status as a hub for security innovation.

EDEX 2025 will gather numerous international defence and security players from across the globe, offering exhibitors the chance to highlight their latest systems and technological advancements. The event will also facilitate important dialogues around collaboration, expertise sharing, and the evolution of modern defence strategies.

The UAE pavilion is being organized by Capital 360 Event Experiences, a segment of ADNEC Group. This initiative forms part of a broader international outreach, with the UAE also participating in various global exhibitions during 2026, including the World Defence Show in Riyadh and others across Asia and the Middle East.

Attendees at EDEX 2025, including international delegations, military officers, and decision-makers, will have the unique opportunity to explore the UAE pavilion and discover the innovative technologies provided by UAE companies. They will engage with defence specialists, explore collaborative opportunities, and investigate new prospects for enhancing the global defence industry. Through its attendance, the UAE reinforces its dedication to advancing global defence collaboration while fostering the growth of advanced military technology.
