Post by : Shweta

A heartbreaking event unfolded in Toronto on Monday when an infant was found unresponsive in a vehicle, resulting in the child's death. This occurred in the city's east end, specifically at the junction of Queen Street East and Pape Avenue.

The Toronto Police Service reported that they received an urgent call at approximately 4:45 p.m. regarding a baby in distress. Emergency personnel, including police officers, firefighters, and paramedics, rushed to the location and began attempts to revive the child.

The infant was then transported by ambulance to a local hospital for continued emergency treatment. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of medical staff, the baby was pronounced dead soon after arrival. Officials have labeled the incident as profoundly tragic.

Duty Inspector Scott Bradbury addressed the media at the scene, confirming the death and mentioning that the child's parents were by their side at the hospital during this distressing time. Further details regarding the circumstances of the case have not been disclosed by authorities.

Currently, the investigation is in its initial phase, and police are diligently working to ascertain the factors that led to this unfortunate event. No additional public details have been made available as of yet.

Authorities are expected to continue their investigation as they seek to gather more information surrounding the case.
