A humanitarian flight from the UAE has recently taken off from Al Maktoum International Airport, heading to Al Arish in Egypt, aimed at aiding those impacted by the Gaza Strip's ongoing humanitarian crisis.
This endeavor is part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, a significant relief initiative launched by the UAE to assist Palestinians amid challenging conditions.
Officials have reported that the aircraft is loaded with 100 tonnes of urgent humanitarian aid, which includes essential medical supplies, nutritional items for children, and clothing for families in celebration of Eid.
The operation is executed in partnership with Emirates Red Crescent, the International Charity Organisation, and Dar Al Ber Society.
Since its inception in November 2023, Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 has successfully delivered over 123,000 tonnes of humanitarian assistance to the Gaza region, in line with the directives of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
UAE officials emphasized that this initiative underscores the nation’s unwavering dedication to offering humanitarian aid and urgent relief to communities facing crises worldwide.
