KHORFAKKAN, UAE: The UAE proudly added a significant milestone to its sports history by clinching the Outdoor Badminton World Cup – National Teams Relay Race, triumphing over China with a score of 60–54 in a captivating final on Khorfakkan Beach.

Spearheaded under the patronage of H.H. The intense final captured the audience’s attention as the UAE battled fiercely against China, maintaining excitement until the very end.

During the closing ceremony, Sheikh Saeed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Chief of the Sharjah Ruler’s Office in Khorfakkan, honored the UAE national team, marking a pivotal moment for both the athletes and the event’s organizers. This occasion emphasized Khorfakkan’s emerging status as a premier venue for global sporting events, marrying competitive thrills with a beautiful coastal backdrop.

In addition to the relay race, the tournament hosted triples competitions, with Brazil winning the men’s triples title, and China taking home the women's triples championship, which enriched the event's global allure.

The tournament wrapped up with the presentation of the championship shield and acknowledgments for the organizers, partners, and supporting entities that contributed to its successful execution.
