His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, spoke on the phone today with Dr. Nawaf Salam, the Prime Minister of Lebanon.
During their call, they talked about the latest problems happening in the region. Their conversation came after Israel launched a military attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran. Both leaders shared their concerns about how this situation could affect peace and safety in the region.
Sheikh Abdullah and Prime Minister Salam agreed that it is very important to stop the conflict from growing bigger. They said everyone must work together to calm things down.
They also talked about how important it is to solve problems through peace talks and honest discussions instead of violence. By doing this, they believe the region can stay safe and the people living there will be more secure.
Both leaders promised to keep supporting peaceful ways to fix conflicts and to do their best to protect the stability and safety of their countries and neighbors.
