Dubai is at the heart of the aviation world as the 19th Dubai Airshow launches at Dubai World Central, showcasing its most expansive and varied event to date. This year's airshow reflects the UAE's ambition to be a leading global center for aviation, space, and defense, highlighting a commitment to forward-thinking technologies.
This edition features a remarkable gathering of participants, including over 1,500 companies, with 440 newcomers signaling the event's increasing international impact. There are also 21 national pavilions, with Morocco making its inaugural appearance, reinforcing the global reach of this platform.
Attendees are treated to a vast exhibition of innovative aircraft, advanced aviation technologies, and groundbreaking developments that are poised to redefine the future of air travel and aerospace capabilities. The airshow presents a dynamic showcase of the industry's evolution, from the construction of mega airports to next-gen defense systems and eco-friendly aviation solutions.
This year, the event anticipates an impressive turnout of 148,000 visitors alongside 490 military and civil delegations from 115 nations, underscoring the substantial global interest in the UAE's expanding aviation landscape. With 98 chalets, 120 startups, and 50 investors spread across an expansive 8,000-square-meter exhibition area, the airshow is driving not just commercial opportunities but also insights into future industry trends.
The airshow is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, whose leadership has been pivotal in shaping Dubai as a trustworthy and innovative aviation hub. The focus on collaboration, innovation, and industry growth mirrors the UAE's strategic vision of enhancing its aviation infrastructure and contributing to global technological advancements.
Running until November 21, the airshow positions Dubai at the intersection of global aerospace advancements, uniting pioneers, cutting-edge technologies, and transformative ideas under one roof, setting new standards year after year.
