In Al Arish, Egypt, the UAE Floating Hospital has welcomed two more patients from the Gaza Strip through the Rafah border, facilitating essential medical care. This effort is part of the UAE’s humanitarian commitment under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, designed to aid the Palestinian population amid the severe humanitarian crisis that Gaza faces.
With this latest intake, the total number of patients treated at the floating hospital since the Rafah crossing’s reopening in February has reached 85.
Medical personnel at the facility have initiated prompt health assessments and evaluations to guarantee that each individual receives adequate medical treatment following international healthcare standards.
Continuing its pivotal role in humanitarian efforts, the UAE Floating Hospital provides comprehensive healthcare services to Palestinian patients, including check-ups, diagnoses, surgeries, physiotherapy, and dialysis.
Managed by a skilled Emirati medical and administrative team, the hospital also benefits from an Indonesian medical team’s support. Healthcare services are available around the clock to efficiently handle varying medical cases and maintain continual patient care.
The UAE's Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 reflects the country's broader commitment to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people during this ongoing crisis in Gaza.
