On its second day, the UAE National Pavilion garnered significant international interest at the Defence Services Asia Exhibition and Conference (DSA) 2026, held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur.
Supported by the Ministry of Defence and the Tawazun Council for Defence Empowerment, the UAE's participation underscores its dedication to forging global defence partnerships and spearheading innovations in the sector. The organizing body, ADNEC Group, operates under Modon.
The pavilion saw an impressive turnout, welcoming over 2,200 attendees, including senior military personnel and international delegations, along with executives from top global defence firms. This highlights the UAE's expanding role as a pivotal player in advanced defence technologies.
Royal visitors included a delegation led by H.R.H. Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah Ibni Al-Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin, Crown Prince of Kedah, and H.R.H. Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Ibni Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail, Crown Prince of Perlis, adding to the event's prestige.
Prominent UAE officials like Dr. Nasser Humaid Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the Tawazun Council for Defence Empowerment, also attended, engaging with cutting-edge defence technologies and exhibits showcased at the pavilion.
Delegations from various nations—including Oman, Türkiye, Thailand, Namibia, South Africa, South Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, Italy, Myanmar, and Germany—visited the pavilion, emphasizing its role as a vital platform for international defence cooperation.
On this day, more than 80 meetings took place between industry leaders and defence specialists, focusing on contemporary technologies such as unmanned systems, robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and cybersecurity solutions.
Leading entities in UAE defence, including EDGE Group, Calidus, Resource Industries, and ASIS Boats, displayed their latest advancements, drawing keen interest from the international audience.
The UAE Pavilion is situated in Hall 4, Stand 4100 at MITEC and will continue to be open until 23 April.
