Representatives from the United Arab Emirates attended the GLOBSEC Forum 2026, which took place in Prague, Czech Republic, from May 21 to 23. The delegation was led by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
At the forum, Lana Zaki Nusseibeh was involved in several key discussions that emphasized global security, technological advancements, and the evolving international landscape. This engagement underscores the UAE’s dedication to fostering international cooperation and encouraging multilateral dialogues.
On the margins of the event, Nusseibeh conducted various bilateral meetings with senior officials from Europe and other international representatives to fortify relationships and explore collaborative opportunities while addressing regional and global issues.
In her meeting with Anita Orbán, both parties appreciated the strengthening ties between the UAE and Hungary. They explored avenues for enhanced cooperation in trade, energy transition, advanced technology, and defense, while also exchanging insights on significant international matters.
Nusseibeh’s discussions with Ferit Hoxha centered on deepening ties between the UAE and Albania, including topics such as infrastructure, renewable energy, tourism, and collaboration in international platforms. They also reviewed current developments in the Middle East aimed at bolstering regional stability and security.
The UAE’s presence at the GLOBSEC Forum 2026 vividly illustrates the nation’s strategy of cultivating robust international alliances while contributing to global initiatives addressing mutual challenges.
