In Dubai, the UAE-Africa Tourism Investment Summit 2025 commenced at Madinat Jumeirah on Monday, themed “Building Bridges for Sustainable Growth”. Organized by The Bench as part of the Future Hospitality Summit (FHS World 2025), the event seeks to foster collaboration in tourism between the UAE and Africa.
Bringing together over 350 stakeholders, including government representatives, ministers, and investors from the UAE and 53 African nations, the summit highlighted tourism as a critical engine for economic advancement. Discussions focused on unlocking strategic investment opportunities and developing the necessary infrastructure for innovative tourism services.
The summit also spotlighted the UAE’s rising stature in the global tourism arena, advocating for sustainable practices within the hospitality sector. Attendees discussed projects aimed at promoting cross-border tourism, responsible travel, and sustainable economic partnerships.
Key agenda items included tourism financing, infrastructure growth, hospitality innovation, and investments in new African destinations. Participants shared insights on best practices and potential collaborations to enhance tourism's role in sustainable development.
Positioning itself as a fundamental ally in Africa’s tourism expansion, the summit illustrated the scope for new business ventures, knowledge exchange, and enduring partnerships aligned with global sustainable tourism objectives.
