In a significant advancement, faculty at S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University have developed and published a series of new educational textbooks intended for higher education institutions throughout Turkmenistan. These academic resources received approval from the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and were produced with assistance from the Turkmen State Publishing Service.

University representatives emphasized that these textbooks aim to elevate modern agricultural education and enhance academic standards in areas such as economics, accounting, veterinary sciences, and animal husbandry. They are anticipated to assist both educators and students engaged in specialized academic disciplines.

Among the highlighted texts is “Sectoral Accounting and Analysis,” authored by professors Orazsoltan Halmyradova, Ogulsuray Godekova, Dayanchmyrat Murrikov, and Maksat Jumayev. This textbook delves into financial and economic operations relevant to both agricultural and industrial sectors, emphasizing accounting techniques and economic assessment.

As per the university's announcement, this publication aligns with the National Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022–2052. It is structured into two segments covering accounting frameworks, financial documentation, production costs, methods for economic evaluation, labor resources, agricultural output, and financial management strategies.

Another essential release is “Zoohygiene,” authored by Associate Professor and Doctor of Veterinary Sciences Tore Garlyev. This textbook addresses animal hygiene, veterinary science, environmental standards, and strategies for managing livestock health. It outlines scientific protocols aimed at enhancing animal health, productivity, and the prevention of diseases within contemporary agricultural settings.

Detailed chapters within this book encompass hygiene practices pertinent to horses, cattle, camels, dogs, as well as poultry, turkeys, and fish farming. Furthermore, it provides insights into the welfare and management of the renowned Akhal-Teke horses, veterinary norms, animal transportation safety, and the latest stable equipment utilized in the field.

Officials from the university asserted that these new publications will serve as indispensable tools for students pursuing veterinary medicine, agricultural economics, accounting, and animal science. They expect these resources to help cultivate the professional skills necessary for the advancement of Turkmenistan’s agriculture and veterinary sectors.

The introduction of these textbooks embodies the ongoing commitment to enhance higher education and foster scientific inquiry in agriculture and animal sciences. Authorities are optimistic that the emphasis on educational resources will aid in the sustainable development of the agricultural industry and facilitate the preparation of highly skilled specialists for future challenges.
