In a heartbreaking turn of events, Punjabi singer Harman Sidhu, famed for his lively performances and hit songs, has died at the age of 37 following a road accident on Friday evening. The unfortunate incident happened as he was making his way from Mansa to his childhood village, Khiala. Reports suggest his vehicle struck a truck head-on, resulting in his immediate death from the collision's impact.

Authorities have confirmed that Sidhu succumbed to injuries instantly. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident is ongoing, and the specifics surrounding the crash are yet to be clarified. His remains were transported to Mansa Civil Hospital for a post-mortem assessment, while his family has been notified, and officials continue to gather further information concerning the incident.

Harman Sidhu gained prominence in the Punjabi music scene with his breakout hit, Paper Te Pyaar, which solidified his reputation as a sought-after performer on stage. His collaborations with well-known Punjabi singer Miss Pooja on various albums contributed to his growing fame. Notable tracks such as Koi Chakkar Nai, Bebe Bapu, Babbar Sher, and Multan VS Russia showcased his talent, characterized by upbeat rhythms and relatable lyricism, endearing him to many fans.

Sidhu is remembered fondly by his wife and young daughter. His sudden passing has sent shockwaves through his community, with friends, fans, and fellow artists expressing their sorrow. His family has requested space as they navigate this challenging period.

In 2018, Sidhu encountered legal issues, having been arrested with friends for drug possession. During questioning, he acknowledged a history of drug use spanning six to seven months, sourced from a contact in Delhi. He was subsequently placed under one-day police custody at that time.

Notwithstanding the controversies, Harman Sidhu was embraced by the Punjabi music community for his dynamic live shows and infectious songs. His untimely exit has cast a pall over the industry.
