Thailand's Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has officially landed in Paris, commencing a significant diplomatic and economic endeavor aimed at fortifying Thailand's global alliances and advancing its interests in Europe.
As per the Prime Minister’s Office, the Thai delegation arrived at Paris-Orly International Airport on Friday morning local time. This contingent features key ministers overseeing finance, foreign relations, and culture, underscoring the visit's strategic significance.
One immediate priority for the Prime Minister includes a meeting with the Director-General of the International Energy Agency, where discussions will center on enhancing Thailand's energy security amid current global supply challenges and escalating energy concerns.
The agenda also encompasses talks with UNESCO officials to enhance cultural partnerships, promote Thai heritage, and leverage soft power globally. Cultural diplomacy is seen as crucial for bolstering international recognition and tourism prospects.
Moreover, during this visit, the Thai leader will connect with the local Thai community and participate in religious ceremonies honoring Queen Rambhai Barni.
