In a historic advancement for international healthcare collaboration, His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs, has officially inaugurated the UAE-Indonesia Hospital for Cardiac Diseases. This important event was attended by His Excellency Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, marking a significant milestone in the partnership between the UAE and Indonesia.

This cutting-edge facility is part of the UAE Global Hospitals Programme under the Zayed Humanitarian Legacy Initiative and stands as the first of ten specialized hospitals planned around the world. It merges state-of-the-art medical technologies with sustainable practices, aiming to redefine standards in patient care. Patients will benefit from advanced cardiac care units, along with features like solar energy systems, rainwater collection, and green building materials.

The hospital adopts a comprehensive approach to healthcare, balancing quality treatment with environmental stewardship. Its innovative design prioritizes patient comfort, operational efficiency, and community wellbeing, reflecting the UAE’s aspirations for a humanitarian impact on a global scale.

The inauguration accentuates the UAE’s enduring dedication to international healthcare collaboration, offering specialized cardiac services while promoting sustainable and socially responsible medical infrastructure.
