UAE Celebrates Albania National Day with Sheikh Nahyan's Attendance

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, graced an event in Abu Dhabi organized by Albania's envoy to the UAE, Ridi Kurtezi, commemorating Albania’s National Day. The gathering attracted high-ranking officials, diplomats, business leaders, and the Albanian expatriate community, reinforcing the warm relationship between the nations.

Among attendees was Omar Rashid Al Neyadi, Director of the European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, alongside several senior officials and heads of diplomatic missions from various countries. The reception served as a platform for celebrating Albania’s rich heritage while bolstering bilateral relations.

In his speech, Ambassador Ridi Kurtezi commended President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's leadership. He underscored the solid cooperation between the UAE and Albania and displayed his nation’s dedication to advancing connections across political, economic, and cultural dimensions. The ambassador characterized the UAE–Albania partnership as resilient and evolving, based on mutual respect and shared ambitions for collaborative growth.

Highlighting the UAE–Albania Joint Economic Committee, Ambassador Kurtezi described it as a testament to the strong economic ties and mutual resolve to boost investments and growth prospects. The committee offers a structured framework for exploring joint ventures, trade, and investment that can be advantageous for both nations.

The occasion also celebrated the significant contributions of the Albanian community in the UAE, acknowledging their role in promoting cultural exchange and diplomatic ties. Guests reveled in Albania’s accomplishments, emphasizing the strengthening camaraderie and cooperation between the two countries.

In his remarks at the event, Sheikh Nahyan reiterated the UAE’s dedication to fostering partnerships that promote cultural understanding, mutual respect, and collaboration on an international scale. He advocated for ongoing dialogue and teamwork to ensure sustainable development in both nations.
