Al Khail Square Project Unveiled by Sheikh Mansour in Abu Dhabi

Post by : Mara Rahim

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, has officially inaugurated the Al Khail Square initiative at the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club. This ambitious project is designed to mesh the emirate's rich equestrian traditions with modern urban living, thereby elevating life quality and fostering future integrated communities in Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Mansour assessed the new urban blueprint and received insights from Mohammed Abdullah Al Junaibi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club, regarding the project’s standout features. Among them are state-of-the-art equestrian facilities, upscale residential units, healthcare centers, retail spaces, and an exclusive members’ club.

Ali Al Shaiba, Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club and Abu Dhabi Turf Club, provided the technical specifics and projected timelines for implementation. Sheikh Mansour emphasized that the development showcases Abu Dhabi's robust commitment to equestrian activities while reinforcing its status as a global centre for horse racing and allied pursuits.

He further noted the necessity for timely completion and adherence to the highest standards. Al Shaiba commented that Al Khail Square is poised to revolutionize the club’s architectural essence, intertwining historic legacies with contemporary living and hospitality models.

Continuing the enduring legacy of the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club, established in 1976 by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, this initiative has long served as a hub for sporting and cultural activities in the emirate. The development emphasizes sustainability and premium urban living, featuring greenery, pedestrian-friendly paths, designs optimized for natural light, modern infrastructure, and advanced cooling systems for year-round comfort.

Strategically located, Al Khail Square is set to emerge as one of Abu Dhabi's premier real estate hotspots. It is anticipated to catalyze new developments, enhance the emirate's urban and cultural frameworks, and provide residents and visitors with a lifestyle that interlaces equestrian heritage with contemporary luxury and comfort.
