H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, visited Canada for work. While there, he met with Mélanie Joly, Canada’s Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for Economic Development in Quebec.
During their meeting, Sheikh Abdullah talked about the strong friendship between the UAE and Canada. They discussed ways to work together more closely and find new opportunities that will help both countries grow and be successful.
They focused on cooperation in many important areas like industry, trade, investment, technology, and renewable energy. Sheikh Abdullah said that it is very important for the two friendly countries to join forces, especially in the industrial sector. He explained that the UAE and Canada have great chances to work together in this field, which will help both nations achieve their goals for steady and sustainable economic growth.
Other important people also took part in the meeting. These included Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, the Minister of State for International Cooperation; Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade; Sultan Al Mansoori, Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs; Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs; and Abdulrahman Ali Al Neyadi, the UAE Ambassador to Canada.
The meeting showed the commitment of both countries to keep building strong relations and work on projects that benefit their people and economies.
