The Saudi Ministry of Defense, through its General Directorate for Health Services, is enhancing this year’s Hajj experience by deploying four specially equipped air ambulances dedicated to assisting pilgrims.
These aircraft are designed for urgent medical care and efficient patient transfers throughout Hajj, working in close collaboration with field hospitals, medical facilities, and ground ambulance units stationed across the sacred sites to ensure prompt medical support.
This air evacuation fleet will also handle patient transfers both within Saudi Arabia and internationally, forming a key part of the Ministry of Defense’s comprehensive healthcare infrastructure.
Authorities indicated that this initiative is focused on elevating emergency healthcare services and ensuring pilgrims receive timely medical attention during the Hajj season.
