Qatar Denounces Drone Assault on Kuwait's Northern Border Posts

Post by : Bianca Suleiman

The State of Qatar has vocally condemned the recent drone assaults aimed at two land border posts in northern Kuwait, reportedly launched from Iraq.

An official statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as reported by Qatar News Agency (QNA), classified the attacks as a blatant infringement of Kuwait's sovereignty and a considerable danger to both regional security and stability.

Qatar emphasized the necessity for Iraq to take full accountability to prevent similar incidents in the future and avert any escalation in the region.

The Ministry reiterated Qatar’s unwavering support for Kuwait, voicing solidarity and backing all measures taken by the nation to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
