The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has officially outlined the operational hours of its health centers during the Eid Al Adha holiday from May 26 to May 30, with the intent of providing seamless healthcare services to residents throughout Qatar during this festive period.
Out of the 31 health centers, 21 will remain accessible, offering family medicine and supportive services at several locations including Al Wakra, Airport, Al Mashaf, Al Thumama, Rawdat Al Khail, Al Sadd, West Bay, Leabaib, Umm Salal, Al Rayyan, Muaither, Al Khor, Al Ruwais, Al Sheehaniya, and Al Wajbah.
Family medicine and supportive health services will be provided daily from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm, whereas dental services will be available from 7:00 am until 10:00 pm.
PHCC has also noted that Al Jemailiya Health Center will function 24 hours a day on an on-call basis throughout the Eid holiday, while Al Karaana and Al Kaaban health centers will focus exclusively on urgent cases.
It is important to note that 10 health centers will not operate during the holiday. Additionally, the home medication delivery service will be paused for the initial two days of Eid and is set to resume on the third day.
Furthermore, specialized clinics for ophthalmology, dermatology, and ENT services will continue functioning at Leabaib, Rawdat Al Khail, and Al Mashaf health centers based on prior appointments, with services available during both morning and evening slots.
Premarital screening, mental health services, and physiotherapy will still be offered at select health centers on designated dates throughout the holiday.
Simultaneously, Hamad Medical Corporation will maintain around-the-clock urgent care services across 15 health centers in the country, with pediatric urgent care available at 10 centers, including Al Wajbah, Al Thumama, Leabaib, Muaither, Al Mashaf, Al Sadd, Al Khor, and Rawdat Al Khail.
PHCC emphasizes that these Eid holiday arrangements are crafted to ensure essential healthcare services remain accessible while upholding high standards of patient care during Eid Al Adha.
