PEIMAR Advances Solar Market Entry into Georgia and Armenia Through Dubai Trade Mission

Post by : Bianca Suleiman

Dubai's commercial ecosystem continues to propel regional expansion, with Italian solar equipment maker PEIMAR leveraging its Middle East base in the city to enter new Eurasian markets. The firm secured market access into Georgia and Armenia after participating in a targeted trade mission arranged by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce.

As part of the mission, PEIMAR sealed a contract to deliver photovoltaic modules for a commercial rooftop project in Tbilisi; the inaugural consignment has already left port. In parallel, the company formalised a cooperation pact with an Armenian solar specialist to support local deployments.

The trade mission facilitated structured B2B engagement, enabling PEIMAR to meet prospective partners and map commercial opportunities. Delegation meetings examined practical matters such as transportation logistics, tax procedures and regulatory compliance to inform a pragmatic market-entry plan.

Positioning itself as a distribution hub serving the Middle East, Asia, Africa and CIS markets, PEIMAR plans to exploit Dubai's connectivity to scale its regional operations. The company's product range spans photovoltaic modules, inverters, storage batteries and EV chargers, underpinned by in-house research, design and manufacturing capabilities.

The move dovetails with the Dubai Chamber's ‘New Horizons’ initiative, which provides export-ready companies with market intelligence, commercial matchmaking and regulatory guidance. The programme forms part of the chamber's wider strategy to deepen Dubai's foreign trade links and support sustainable private-sector growth.

By entering Georgia and Armenia, PEIMAR has opened new revenue channels while underscoring Dubai's role as a launchpad for innovation-led enterprises seeking global reach.
