Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chaddha Welcome Baby Boy Named Neer

Post by : Mina Rahman

Actor Parineeti Chopra and AAP leader Raghav Chaddha have joyfully introduced their newborn son to the world, naming him Neer. They took to social media on Wednesday to announce this significant moment, sharing a glimpse of their new life as parents. Alongside, they shared a meaningful Sanskrit phrase, “Jalasya rūpam, premasya svarūpam – tatra eva Neer,” highlighting the name’s essence of purity, divinity, and endless love. The name “Neer” also artfully integrates elements from both Parineeti and Raghav’s names, making it personally special.

The announcement featured two touching photographs: one of the couple gently kissing their baby’s tiny feet, and the other showing them lovingly cradling his feet. These moments reflect the warmth and protective nature surrounding their newborn. In her heartfelt caption, Parineeti remarked, “Our hearts found peace in an eternal drop of life. We named him ‘Neer’ — pure, divine, limitless.”

Neer was born on 19 October; however, the couple initially kept the news private, sharing the joyful occasion only with close family. They later released a joint message announcing his arrival, declaring, “He’s finally here! Our baby boy. Life before this moment feels hazy. Our arms are full; our hearts overflow. First, we had each other; now, we have everything,” concluding with gratitude.

The relationship between Parineeti and Raghav blossomed privately. They were first spotted together in early 2023, leading to speculation, which the couple confirmed with their engagement at Delhi’s Kapurthala House in May. Their wedding followed on 23 September 2023 in Udaipur, marked by an intimate yet elegant ceremony with family and close friends.

In her professional life, Parineeti was last seen in Amar Singh Chamkila, gaining critical acclaim for her performance. She has wrapped filming for an untitled Netflix mystery thriller featuring Tahir Raj Bhasin and Jennifer Winget, alongside her upcoming appearance in the Hindi film Jugalbandi. As she embraces motherhood, fans eagerly anticipate her forthcoming projects and this beautiful new chapter in her life.
