In a remarkable display of skill, Jhonatan Narváez of UAE Team Emirates-XRG secured triumph in Stage 11 of the Giro d’Italia on Wednesday. The Ecuadorian champion propelled his team to their fourth stage win in this year’s race, navigating the challenging terrain between Tuscany and Liguria with impressive agility.
Narváez demonstrated stellar form as he outpaced Enric Mas from Movistar Team in a thrilling sprint finish, with Mas taking a close second in what proved to be an electrifying contest for the top spot.
Despite earlier setbacks, where Narváez and teammates missed key early breakaways, UAE Team Emirates-XRG regrouped effectively, allowing the 29-year-old to rejoin the leaders.
This victory further solidifies UAE Team Emirates-XRG’s impressive performance at the Giro d’Italia 2026, marking four stage wins in just the first 11 days of the competition.
Following Stage 11, Afonso Eulálio from Bahrain Victorious continues to lead the overall standings with a cumulative time of 44:17:41. Close behind are Jonas Vingegaard from Visma-Lease a Bike in second, trailing by 27 seconds, and Thymen Arensman of Netcompany Ineos in third, a minute and 57 seconds off the lead.
