Millie Bobby Brown Says Goodbye to Eleven as Stranger Things Ends

Post by : Mina Rahman

As Stranger Things gears up for its fifth and final season this month, Millie Bobby Brown opens up about the bittersweet end of a journey that began when she was merely 12. Rising to fame as Eleven, the fierce yet endearing character, Millie describes this moment as both surreal and profoundly emotional. “It was incredibly emotional and surreal,” she remarks. “I’m just so grateful and honored to have been part of such an amazing show for so long and to embody such a wonderful character. I truly feel blessed.”

Growing up in the public eye has had its challenges, and Millie candidly admits that navigating fame at a young age wasn’t easy. “There’s a constant pressure to do everything right,” she reveals. “Anyone can scrutinize anyone's life if they look closely enough. It has certainly been challenging for me.”

Fortunately, she had the unwavering support of her co-stars — Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, and Caleb McLaughlin. “We were all in this together,” she emphasizes. “I feel incredibly lucky to have that support system surrounding me.”

Among her cherished memories from Stranger Things, Millie highlights her unique friendship with Noah Schnapp. “I definitely feel like the third Schnapp!” she chuckles. “I genuinely don’t know where I would be without Noah. He’s my best friend; that’s just how it is. Every friendship I form is measured against my bond with Noah because it’s one-of-a-kind. We’re like siblings.”

Her voice softens as she reflects on their deep connection: “Our love for one another is immense and unconditional. No matter what challenges we face, we tackle them together. Friendships like ours are rare, and when you find one, nurture it with all you have.”

Millie wraps up her thoughts by expressing how much she values Noah’s advice, a feeling he reciprocates. “We genuinely look out for each other. It’s pure because we share a history prior to all the fame. I truly wish him the best, and he feels the same for me. In this industry, questioning others' intentions is common, but with Noah, I never have to doubt. His intentions are always sincere and loving.”

As Millie Bobby Brown bids farewell to her role in Stranger Things, her reflections serve as a tribute not just to the show's end, but also to the enduring friendships and valuable lessons learned along the way.
