Lava is all set to enhance its smartphone offerings in India with the imminent launch of the Agni 4. With an anticipated price tag of under ₹30,000, this device aims to deliver both premium aesthetics and high performance for mid-range consumers. As a prelude to its release, Lava is launching the innovative Demo@Home campaign. From November 20 to 24, select individuals in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai will have the opportunity to test the device, guided by Lava engineers in the comfort of their own homes.
The Agni 4 boasts a stylish aluminium alloy body complemented by a matte AG glass back, ultra-slim 1.7 mm bezels, and is available in Phantom Black and Lunar Mist White. This design not only elevates durability but also ensures a comfortable grip.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 5G chipset (4nm, up to 3.35GHz) and scores over 1.4 million on AnTuTu (V10). It features 8GB RAM that can be expanded to 16GB, 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage, a 4300 mm² vapor-chamber cooling system, and a dedicated Game Booster mode for optimal gaming performance.
The Agni 4 is equipped with a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen showcasing a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 2400 nits, 10-bit color depth, 446 PPI, and support for 1.07 billion colors, delivering crisp visuals even in bright outdoor conditions.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the device’s 50MP primary rear camera featuring OIS, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP front camera. Both the front and rear camera arrays support 4K video recording at 60fps. Enhancements like AI scene detection, skin-tone adjustments, Dual Conversion Gain for dynamic range, and Dual-View Video enrich the overall photography capabilities.
Durability is a key focus, highlighted by an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, wet-touch capabilities, and a reinforced frame designed to withstand up to an hour of rainfall. Additionally, users will enjoy a programmable Action Key with over 100 shortcuts to enhance convenience.
Lava supports the Agni 4 with its Agni Promise, which includes doorstep replacement for manufacturing faults, no unwanted software, three years of Android updates, four years of security patches, and continual software upgrades, promising a reliable user experience over the long term.
