On Tuesday, Israeli airstrikes targeted various locations in southern Lebanon, resulting in the tragic deaths of 31 individuals and injuries to 40 others, as reported by officials from the Lebanese health authorities.
The Public Health Emergency Operations Centre of Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health issued an official statement confirming these casualties.
The most devastating strike occurred in the region of Burj El Shemali, near Tyre, where 14 people were killed and 16 sustained injuries.
In Kouthariyeh El Siyad, five lives were lost, and six individuals were injured. Another assault in Haboush resulted in four fatalities and ten injuries.
Israeli forces also targeted Maarakah, where six people died and another six were injured. Additionally, Sel'aa reported two fatalities and two injuries.
Emergency responders and medical personnel were swiftly deployed to provide aid and recover victims in the impacted regions.
These latest airstrikes exacerbate ongoing tensions and persistent cross-border violence in southern Lebanon.
