The iPhone 17 is expected to launch around September this year, and it’s already creating a lot of buzz. Over the past few months, many leaks have come out, giving us a better idea of what to expect from Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 series. Some reports suggest that Apple may redesign the iPhone 17 Pro camera module. There's also a new model name coming — the iPhone 17 Air.

Now, a fresh leak gives us more exciting details. According to a well-known tipster named Majin Bu, Apple may add new colours to the iPhone 17 standard (vanilla) model. The two colours being tested are purple and green. While Apple is still trying them out, the purple shade seems more likely to be added to the final product.

This wouldn’t be the first time Apple has released a purple iPhone. In the past, the iPhone 14 Pro was available in Deep Purple, and the regular iPhone 14 also came in a light purple colour.

Besides new colours, another big change could be the display. For the first time, the standard iPhone 17 may get a 120Hz refresh rate screen, just like the Pro models. However, this display may not have the same advanced “ProMotion” technology seen in the Pro versions. It might simply be a smoother 120Hz screen without the power-saving LTPO tech.

When it comes to the design, the iPhone 17 is expected to look a lot like the iPhone 16. Along with the standard model, Apple is expected to launch the full lineup, including the iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

So far, these details are based on leaks and may change by the time the iPhone 17 officially launches. But if everything goes as expected, this new iPhone could be one of the most exciting yet.
