flydubai to Initiate Daily Flights from Dubai to Bangkok DMK Starting July 2026

Post by : Bianca Suleiman

flydubai has revealed plans to commence daily flights to Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) in Bangkok effective from July 1, 2026. This new route will be serviced from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport (DXB).

With this addition, Bangkok becomes the second location in Thailand served by flydubai, joining Krabi. The new route aims to enhance travel options and address increasing demand during the summer travel period.

This route will operate as a codeshare with Emirates, allowing seamless connections through Dubai to numerous global destinations. The collaboration is anticipated to bolster connectivity across the extensive network.

Flydubai indicates that this expansion also reinforces its activities in Southeast Asia. In addition to Thailand, the airline already connects to locales such as Langkawi and Penang in Malaysia.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai, underscored that the new Bangkok service exemplifies the airline's dedication to enhancing its network and increasing travel options. He also pointed out that the surge in travel demand and recovery in tourism necessitate additional capacity and improved trade relations between the UAE and critical markets.

According to Sudhir Sreedharan, senior vice president of commercial operations, Bangkok is a prime destination appealing to both leisure and business travelers. He emphasized that daily flights would provide enhanced flexibility, especially during peak summer travel, and that demand is poised for further growth, potentially leading to increased flight frequencies in the future.

This new route aims to facilitate seamless travel between Dubai and Bangkok while enhancing connectivity across flydubai’s expanding international network.
