Dubai — This upcoming long weekend, Global Village will transform into a vibrant center for entertainment, culture, and celebration in honor of UAE National Day, also known as Eid Al Etihad. While entry fees apply, the park offers numerous free activities and performances accessible to everyone.
Fireworks and Drone Displays
From December 1 to 3, the night sky above Global Village will come alive at 9pm with an impressive fireworks show in the hues of the UAE flag. Following this, on December 1 and 2, a mesmerizing UAE-themed drone display will showcase technology and national pride, captivating audiences of all ages.
‘From the Desert to the Stars’ Operetta
The Main Stage is set to host the engaging theatrical dance performance, From the Desert to the Stars, presented twice daily. This operetta commemorates the UAE’s 54th National Day through storytelling, choreographed dances, and cultural performances that celebrate unity and heritage.
Experience the UAE Pavilion
The UAE Pavilion offers a rich cultural journey filled with iconic Emirati symbols such as wind towers, golden coffee pots, camels, and a dhow boat. Inside, visitors can:

Discover the Heritage Village, reflecting Emirati craftsmanship and hospitality
Additionally, ten cultural installations scattered across the park provide vibrant photo opportunities while deepening one’s appreciation of UAE traditions.
Harbiya Dance Performances
On December 1 and 2, live Harbiya dance performances will take place at the Arabian Square, Happiness Street, Falcon, and Main Stage from 5:45pm to 9:30pm, showcasing the essence of Emirati performing arts.
Gardens of the World
Global Village now features the Gardens of the World, a lush family-friendly area extending from the Egypt Pavilion to the Iran Pavilion. This enchanting venue includes exotic flowers and global landmark icons, alongside peaceful walking trails perfect for relaxation and photos.
30 Seasons of Wonders Parade
Commemorating three decades of Global Village, the 30 Seasons of Wonders Parade presents captivating performances, vibrant lighting, and music. This parade runs three days a week (Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday) after Maghreb prayer, offering two daily shows that fuse global cultural storytelling with festive spirit.
Dragon Lake Laser Show
The enhanced Dragon Lake proudly holds the Guinness World Record for the largest underwater display screen, now featuring six laser shows that combine fire, animations, and stunning visual effects—a must-see for all visitors.
Evening Light Spectacle
The evening Light Show near the Main Stage blends LED effects with music and ambient lighting, creating a magical atmosphere for families and friends.

Weekday admission (Sun–Thu): Dh25 per person (excluding public holidays)
Any day admission: Dh35 per person
Free entry: Available for People of Determination, seniors aged 65 and above, and children under three
Opening hours: 4pm–12am (Sun–Wed), 4pm–1am on other days
