The World of Coffee Dubai 2026 is primed to enhance its global coffee footprint by presenting three major auctions organized by DMCC. Scheduled for January 18–20 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, this fifth edition aims to build on last year’s success, where specific microlots fetched over USD 10,000 per kilogram, marking one of the highest bids in the world.
This year’s expanded agenda reinforces Dubai’s status as a crucial nexus between coffee origin markets and global buyers. In collaboration with DMCC and DXB LIVE, and coordinated by M-Cultivo, the auctions promise a digital and transparent trading experience, providing buyers with immediate verified data for each lot. Remote involvement continues to play a key role, reflecting Dubai’s commitment to efficiency and connectivity in the specialty coffee market.
Over the three days, each day focuses on a unique aspect. The first day will present exclusive limited-edition coffee equipment, auctioned only during this event. The second day will spotlight specialty microlots from esteemed coffee-producing nations such as Colombia, Ethiopia, Yemen, and Panama, with cupping sessions allowing prospective buyers to taste and evaluate before bidding. The final day will shine a light on coffees showcased by exhibitors, granting roasters and producers a chance to connect with international buyers and broaden their market reach.
These auctions coincide with a flourishing UAE coffee sector, valued at over USD 3.2 billion and anticipated to climb to USD 4.5 billion by 2029. This growth is fuelled by increased demand for specialty coffee, a vibrant café culture, and Dubai’s ascent as a re-export hub, with coffee re-exports surpassing AED 3.5 billion, supported by a maturing industry attracting global interest.
Producers and equipment manufacturers interested in submitting lots for the 2026 auctions can now apply. Entries will be rigorously evaluated based on quality, innovation, and traceability. Buyers are encouraged to register in advance for participation either in-person or virtually.
World of Coffee Dubai 2026 is poised to capture significant attention from the worldwide coffee community, further enhancing Dubai’s reputation as a pivotal hub, where producers, traders, and specialty coffee aficionados converge to influence the industry’s future.
