The aviation sector in Dubai receives a substantial boost as ENOC Group, a prominent integrated energy provider, enters into a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Dubai-based airline, flydubai. This agreement is designed to not only enhance but also deepen the trusted partnership in aviation fuel supply between the two entities, paving the way for further collaboration.
Forecasts indicate that the aviation market in the Middle East and Africa is set to grow from US$34.4 billion in 2025 to US$44.7 billion by 2030, underscoring the increasing demand for dependable fuel supply solutions. ENOC Aviation, dedicated to this sector, will be instrumental in backing flydubai's fast-paced expansion.
Currently, flydubai boasts a cutting-edge fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft operating across over 135 destinations in 57 countries. The airline has plans to expand its fleet beyond 95 aircraft by 2025, with orders for over 120 Boeing 737 MAX jets and 30 Boeing 787 jets scheduled for delivery in the coming decade. The newly signed MoU guarantees that ENOC Aviation will adequately fulfill the airline's fueling requirements as it broadens its global umbrella.
In the current year, flydubai has launched 12 new routes that stretch across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, providing travelers with enhanced travel options and improved connectivity to less accessible regions.
The MoU includes a full suite of fueling services that leverage ENOC Aviation’s vast supply network, covering over 300 airports in 28 countries, fueling in excess of 300 aircraft per day with more than 3 million US gallons of jet fuel. Additionally, the partnership facilitates joint assessments of supply chains and operational support to ensure smooth flight operations through Dubai's global aviation center.
With a long-standing partnership spanning 15 years, the support from ENOC Aviation continues to bolster flydubai's growth, ensuring that the airline upholds efficiency and reliability while expanding its international reach.
