Under the direction of Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE has revealed that 15 young Emirati nationals will participate in the National Talent Development with World Bank Group Explorers Program. This initiative is designed to offer practical experience in global financial frameworks and international development.

The news was announced during the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund's Spring Meetings held in Washington, D.C. This collaboration is a joint endeavor between the World Bank Group and the UAE Ministry of Finance.

Support for the initiative comes from important national organizations, such as the UAE Aid Agency, the Office of Development and Fallen Heroes’ Families Affairs, and ADGM Academy.

Being among the early participants in this worldwide program, the UAE aims to nurture local talent and enhance its influence within international development agencies.

Participants will work on authentic development projects, acquiring hands-on experience in economics, infrastructure, finance, and global development, coupled with insights into the operations of the World Bank.

Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini emphasized that the program signifies the UAE’s ongoing commitment to fostering human capital, preparing a new cohort of professionals capable of influencing global financial and economic landscapes.

Dr. Tareq Ahmed Al Ameri noted that this initiative will offer skills training and exposure to international best practices, allowing Emirati youth to forge rewarding careers in economics and development.

Radi Anguelova highlighted that the collaboration underscores a dedication to cultivating future leaders who can tackle global issues and drive substantial impact across various sectors.

Hamad Sayah Al Mazrouei remarked that the program will equip Emirati youth with essential skills and a global viewpoint, paving the way for success in intricate international contexts.

Additionally, the initiative aligns with Abu Dhabi’s broader economic objectives, reinforcing local expertise in development finance and enhancing synergy between public and private sectors.

Ultimately, this initiative aspires to cultivate formidable global capabilities among Emirati youth and establish the UAE as a proactive participant in international development and economic resilience.
