Emirates has announced a significant advancement in Caribbean connectivity through its new interline partnership with Bahamasair. This initiative enables travelers from Emirates’ worldwide network to easily access The Bahamas.
Under this agreement, passengers flying with Emirates to Miami or Orlando can effortlessly transition to Bahamasair’s flights, reaching critical destinations in The Bahamas: Nassau/Paradise Island and Freeport in Grand Bahama. This arrangement ensures a streamlined experience with a single-ticket option and a cohesive baggage policy applicable to both airlines.
This collaboration follows a Memorandum of Understanding inked in June between Emirates and Bahamasair. Emirates currently provides daily services to Miami using its upgraded Boeing 777 aircraft across four cabin classes, while Orlando is connected five times a week on a three-class Boeing 777. From these Florida locations, travelers can board Bahamasair’s Boeing 737 flights, offering direct access to the Caribbean.
Earlier this year, Emirates also entered an MoU with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Bahamas to collaboratively promote tourism. This latest partnership highlights further efforts to strengthen travel connections and expand The Bahamas’ visibility within Emirates’ global clientele.
By linking Emirates’ extensive international network with Bahamasair’s domestic services, travelers are offered enhanced, more convenient routes to one of the most sought-after Caribbean vacation spots.
