Effective January 1, 2026, Emirates, recognized as the world’s largest international airline, will transition all seven weekly flights to Baghdad to its advanced Airbus A350. This change represents a notable upgrade from the current service operated by the Boeing 777, which runs four times each week.
The upgraded service ensures a uniform and premium travel experience for passengers on every flight. The A350 is designed with three distinct classes, featuring 32 lie-flat Business Class seats organized in a 1-2-1 arrangement, 21 Premium Economy seats in a 2-3-2 layout, and 259 roomy Economy Class seats in a 3-3-3 configuration. Travelers will relish Emirates’ acclaimed inflight entertainment, wider aisles, quieter cabins, and state-of-the-art lighting engineered to alleviate jet lag.
Having first incorporated the A350 on select routes to Baghdad in August 2025, this full weekly rollout showcases Emirates’ commitment to enhancing travel quality and consistency. It also underscores the airline’s continued dedication to Iraq and the broader Middle East region.
With cutting-edge amenities, an engaging inflight experience, and a focus on passenger care, the complete deployment of the A350 ensures that travelers to Baghdad can enjoy Emirates’ latest innovations with every journey. Tickets are available for purchase through emirates.com, the Emirates App, retail points, contact centers, or travel agents.
