Post by : Bianca Suleiman

Dubai South, Dubai – Tim Aerospace has proudly inaugurated its state-of-the-art maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) hangar at the Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), establishing one of the largest independent facilities in the region. This facility is set to handle a maximum of 12 narrow-body aircraft or five wide-body aircraft, excluding the A380, demonstrating the company’s dedication to expanding its presence in the Middle East.

The inauguration event brought together high-ranking officials from Dubai’s aviation sphere, including HE Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, alongside Tahnoon Saif, CEO of MBRAH, and Timor Shah Shahab, Founder of Tim Aerospace. The presence of top executives and representatives from prominent airlines further emphasized the industry's recognition of this pivotal achievement.

Positioned strategically within Dubai South, this new hangar aims to deliver high-quality, cost-effective aircraft base maintenance services for both commercial passenger and cargo aircraft. By optimizing operational performance and increasing capacity, the facility prepares Tim Aerospace to address the rising regional demand while adhering to high international safety and reliability standards.

This launch reinforces Dubai’s ambition of becoming a key hub for aerospace innovation and excellence. MBRAH continues to provide exceptional connectivity, a free-zone environment for global aviation stakeholders, and a robust ecosystem that nurtures engineering, maintenance, and training ventures.

This advancement further solidifies Dubai South’s reputation as a destination for global aerospace investment, enhancing its attraction for airlines, private jet operators, and MRO service providers focusing on growth opportunities in the region.
