Dubai Launches Major Housing Initiative with 830 New Homes

Post by : Bianca Suleiman

In a significant development under the direction of Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MBRHE) has commenced the distribution of its largest batch of new homes to UAE nationals.

This housing initiative is aligned with the Year of the Family 2026 initiative, showcasing Dubai’s continuous commitment to enhancing the living conditions for its residents. A total of 830 homes, with an overall value of AED1.6 billion, are being allocated within the Wadi Al Amardi and Al Aweer projects.

Innovative and Clear Allocation Method

Utilizing cutting-edge smart technology, MBRHE aims to provide an efficient and transparent allocation process. Beneficiaries can conveniently reserve homes via the DubaiNow app.

Qualified citizens receive calls from the MBRHE contact center, inviting them to visit dedicated allocation centers, which operate as follows:

  • Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

MBRHE’s CEO, Mohammad Hassan AlShehhi, emphasized that this system promotes efficiency and governance, ensuring ease for beneficiaries.

Extra Support for Citizens

In addition to home allocations, MBRHE is rolling out an AED83 million grant championed by Sheikha Hind, aimed at furnishing homes. This initiative alleviates the transition for families into fully-equipped residences.
