Dubai is making significant strides in its digital transformation with the unveiling of the third edition of the ‘Create Apps Championship’. This initiative, part of the Create Apps in Dubai program, builds upon the achievements of its predecessors, which attracted over 5,800 applications and led to the launch of more than 55 smart applications.
The championship is designed to discover, support, and nurture the growth of innovative thinkers, creating a setting where creativity converges with technology. This year features thrilling new components and funding prospects to enhance its impact.
New Features and Funding Opportunities
An exciting addition is the ‘Longevity App of the Year’ award, aimed at recognizing solutions that enhance health, wellness, and lifestyle through inventive digital applications. This initiative supports the UAE's broader goal of building a sustainable and forward-looking society.
Participants can also benefit from the newly launched Alumni Accelerator Programme, designed to assist promising teams in refining their concepts, enabling them to launch fully developed applications. This includes access to mentorship, training, and a dedicated space to expedite their projects.

The championship includes four primary categories:
Best Youth App
Most Impactful App
Most Innovative App
Longevity App of the Year
Funding amounts exceed AED 2.5 million, with winners in three categories each receiving over AED 550,000 to develop their apps. The overall ‘App of the Year’ winner, determined by public vote, will secure AED 1 million to bring their project to life.
